AWS Account Setup

The Forward Collector can discover and collect Amazon AWS Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) components such as subnets, VPN gateways, route tables, Internet gateways, NAT gateways, and load balancers.

Pre-requisite​

A Forward Collector should be installed on-prem.

Account setup​

To set up an Amazon Web Services (AWS) account for collection, follow the process outlined below:

  1. Navigate to Sources -> Cloud infra and click Add a cloud setup.
  2. Select Amazon Web Services (AWS) as the account type and click Next.

  1. Select the scope of collection. This can be limited to a Single Account or Multiple accounts within the same organization.
