Meraki Dashboard Setup
Adding Meraki Dashboards
Prerequisites
Ensure the following prerequisites are met before adding a Meraki Dashboard:
- Access to a Meraki dashboard with a read-only account.
- Two-factor authentication (2FA) must be disabled for this account.
- A Meraki API Key.
- Ability to provide the dashboard security code if prompted during setup.
To add a Meraki Dashboard to the Forward Platform, proceed to the Sources page, select the Cloud-Managed tab, and click Add a Cisco Meraki Dashboard to launch the setup wizard.

For deployments with existing devices, click Add a Cloud Dashboard to launch the setup wizard.

Step 1 - Confirming Prerequisites
Confirm the following prerequisites:
- The read-only account for Meraki Dashboard has 2FA disabled.
- You can authenticate via email if prompted during setup.
Acknowledge these requirements by selecting the corresponding checkboxes.

Step 2 - Connecting to your Meraki Dashboard
Fill in the required account details:
- Meraki Setup Name - Assign a unique name for this setup.
- Meraki Login Credentials - Select an existing credential or add a new one by choosing Add Basic Authentication Credentials.
- API Key - Select an existing API key or add a new one by choosing Add API Key Credential.

Verify the Meraki Dashboard connection by clicking Test Connection. Enter the dashboard security code emailed to the account if prompted.
A successful connection test is required to proceed.

Step 4 - Selecting Devices
To automatically collect data from all listed devices, enable Auto-Detect and Collect All Devices. If you prefer to specify which devices to collect data from, disable this option and manually select the devices you're interested in.

Step 5 - Summary
A summary screen will verify the successful setup of the Meraki dashboard.

Managing Your Meraki Dashboard Integration
To view configured Meraki Dashboards, access the Cloud Managed tab under Sources.

Editing Meraki Dashboard Device Settings
Clicking the number within the Devices column will open a pane to edit the devices collected from the Meraki Dashboard. Options include enabling/disabling auto-detecting and collection of all devices, including/excluding specific devices, and assigning locations.

Editing Meraki Dashboord Account Settings
Update account settings like the setup name, login credentials, and API key by selecting the Edit icon for the respective dashboard.

Deleting a Meraki Dashboard
Remove a Meraki Dashboard by clicking the Delete icon for the desired setup and confirming the action.
