Capabilities a network device may advertise via LLDP or CDP.

Options

name	description
BRIDGE	Performs MAC bridging (Layer 2).
CABLE_DEVICE	DOCSIS cable device.
OTHER	None of the above.
REPEATER	Repeater (hub).
ROUTER	Performs IP forwarding (Layer 3).
STATION	End station (host) only.
TELEPHONE	Telephone (e.g. IP phone).
WLAN_AP	Wireless LAN access point.
