Network Onboarding
Onboarding and Network Setup
Forward Enterprise offers two ways to get your network up and running, depending on where you are in your setup. For any new organization, the first login automatically begins with guided onboarding, typically completed by Org admins. Guided network setup is used whenever a new network needs to be created and is typically used by Network admins.
Guided Onboarding
Guided onboarding is the first-time setup wizard, designed to familiarize you with the flow of the product. It presents your setup as a guided series of tasks and walks you through each one. For convenience, your first network is already created on first login, so you can focus on installing a collector, adding sources, and taking your first snapshot.
Guided Network Setup
Guided network setup walks you through creating a new network from scratch, including steps for naming it, selecting a collector, and choosing what to collect from.
Unlike the first-time wizard, these steps can be followed at any later stage after your initial configuration is done, whenever you need to add and configure additional networks.
